An Obedience that is Strong and Courageous

The defining moments of life require both strength and courage. As Joshua stood at the river’s edge, preparing to take the land God had promised, it wasn’t strength and courage for the battles that lay ahead that Joshua needed. It was strength and courage to be in obedience to God. It was his understanding of God’s will and living in obedience to it that would define his success. The same is true for us. The most courageous thing we will ever do is to say yes to God.
